New Spud comic

Well, I just finished my latest Spud comic for YYZ Lifestyle magazine. I'd be considerate enough to post it here but then why bother getting the magazine? You're going to have to get a copy :P Unless, of course, you don't live in Toronto...

But I can be nice enough to tell you that it's about that old phenomenon where as soon as your friends get married you never, ever see them again (unless, of course, you're married yourself-- what is it with most couples dumping their single friends and sticking to their kind?). I really should be posting more drawings if this is supposed to be a blog from a 'toonist. Next time. Right now it's late (yes, 9:30 is late for me on a work night).

Today, I bought one of those Brit magazines about drawing on the computer. Computer Arts, I think? I left the magazine at work. They all seem to be from the same company. This one is focused on digital cartooning and how it can be applied to different industries. Plus it comes with a nifty demo of Toon Boom software (since I want to start making Spud movies--- note to myself: find the bloody time!) which I can easily have downloaded from their website after all this time but never quite got around to doing it.
